Wall tiles for Goa villas, homestays and cafes

Goa's houses are their own style: laterite walls, deep verandas, Portuguese-era colour and pattern, and now a wave of villas, homestays and cafes built for the holiday market. Owners and architects here want tiles with character, and they want them to survive a monsoon that lasts four months.

Axoli Tiles supplies Goa from Morbi, three to four days away by road. Architects and villa builders order direct; tile dealers in Margao, Panaji and Mapusa stock and order our designs for the homes and hospitality projects around them.

Designs that suit Goa

The patterned tiles are what Goa asks for first: Moroccan and encaustic looks in blue and rust for kitchens, bathrooms and the floor of a cafe, and the black and white chevron for a poolside bar. Terracotta brick looks suit the laterite and the sea light, and glazed ceramic is the right material for walls that get salt air and rain for a third of the year.
